A new adventure begins...

Rob has accepted a temporary assignment for Boeing in Charleston, South Carolina. He volunteered to join a 787 crew to keep busy while we wait for the KC-135 contract to be confirmed here in San Antonio. It is a short assignment, just 60 days and he will get to come home for visits every 3 weeks. This is the first time for us to be apart long term as a family, but we agree it is worth it. He will be working a lot of overtime and getting his lodging and food paid for. This will help a lot to pay for our summer vacation plans to return to the NW. In the mean time I expect to keep busy with yard projects in addition to chasing after the kids and the puppy. Beli is growing at a crazy rate and since we have no clue how to manage such a big dog we have enrolled her in puppy training. She is a wild one, we are all dealing with bites and tears in our clothing. The yard has become a priority because of her curious ways, digging and rolling around in the bushes to name a couple. Before Rob leaves for SC he will have several "honey do's" to take care of.
