Independence Day 2008

This year we really went all out celebrating freedom and the birth of our nation in an area seated deep in America's history, Charleston, South Carolina! We did our best to represent patriotism by participating in a walking parade. With flags waving and signs in hand we marched around the town square in red white and blue. As a special treat Rob's parents were with us to celebrate the day and the dogs also got in on the action. Beli stole the show with her orange swim goggles and was photographed and mentioned in the local newspaper.

Of course the day would not have been complete without swimming, hotdogs, blueberry cobbler, sparklers and fireworks. Leave it to us to squeeze it all in and we will. It was a great day and now we are bursting with excitement to visit the nation's capital in just 3 weeks!
