After finally finding my "other" camera cables I am now able to share with everyone Shayla's birthday pictures! This was a special birthday for her since it was her sweet 16!
As a special treat her Grandma from Longview, Washington flew into Charleston to celebrate with us and as a bonus we got to be with her to celebrate her birthday too!
We had a full 4 days of activities, highlights included a special girls only sleep over with Ruthann at the hotel, a full day of browsing and shopping on Kings Street, a carriage ride around historic Charleston,
and dinner at the infamous Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant, complete with embarrassing song and dance.
She already had her first driving lesson from Mom and did very well. She is eager for her next lesson but that will have to wait until after we get settled in and are licensed, registered and insured in SC. Her dream is to own a classic Mustang someday and was fortunate enough to stumble upon one downtown just before her birthday dinner! Yikes!!
