Since we are still getting familiar with our new city we ended up visiting two different farms. We had a night visit to a "haunted" farm and a day visit to a corn maze. The night trip was not so fun but a lesson learned. The day trip was closer to what we enjoy...visiting farm animals, bouncing along on the hay ride, finding our way through the maze and picking out an "ugly" pumpkin to carve. The girls carved the palmetto state flag into it, and Beli was especially into the project this year. Without our TX buddies to play hide and seek with, we a had more low key Halloween night munching on goodies and rootbeer floats watching a family movie instead.
